View out of my new view bedroom at my parents temporarily new new bedroom.

I was in Colorado this weekend.

My parents moved again. I think I mentioned it before, but I needed to go up and help move and setup some of their equipment.

The whole moving process is kinda complicated.

Let's see, they sold the house they just built. I guess they lived in it about a year.

They bought another one that is in need of a lot of work, so they are going to gut it and re-sell that one, unless of course it turns out fabulous, then they might stay.

My parents took me on a tour of the new place. They've only been in it less than a week, and my mom has a lot of it setup nicely.

They still have tons of stuff in boxes, and I suspect a lot will stay in boxes as they downsized a bit on this house.

So we spent some time digging through boxes in the basement, trying to find key missing pieces.

They both were eager to point out all the crazy things the previous owner had done, and I have to admit it really does need some some work, but the locatin and base are still quite nice. With a minimum investment and my parent's keen eye at architecture and style, the place will be ship shape in no time. I think they will try and re-sell it at that point.

Sounds like they are debating how they are gonna handle the reconstruction AND living in it at the same time. Sounded like my dad was talking about living in another location temporarily while some of the major work get done.

They also bought a nice lot further up the mountain and are planning on building on it moving into that one--or perhaps selling. It's a coin toss as to which one they will move into actually. Talk about stress!

The lot is very nice, and has a great view of rocks and the back view will be totally awesome.

So I went up there and plugged in all their stereo and home theatre equipment. I had to buy some more speakers, cuz the last house had the surround sound speakers built into the walls. That was about the only surprise. I got them a copy of the "The Two Towers" but we didnt find time to watch it. Maybe at Christmas when the third movie is out. We can have a marathon!

Set my mom's computer up too, though we had some drama with a lost key to a credenza that was locked with some printer drivers in it. It set both my mom and dad on a tailspin adventure to find them, where ultimately, the key was not found, and no printer setup. But that was the only stumbling block.

I also managed to get a photoshoot in. Photographer James W Johnson (www.jwjphoto.com ) had recently shot in Colorado, and gave me a couple solid referrals totally at the last minute. Hs

At first I got greedy and was thinking about shooting two models, but with my parent's distance, the work I had to do, I narrowed it quickly to one.

So on Saturday I spent the afternoon with Alex and his boyfriend Steve. He was awesome to work with. Steve jumped into some of the bed shots, and I got some totally beautiful couple shots that I am eager to show you all.

I got so many good shots! Everything totally clicked. Alex was awesome, the lighting, the location. Good vibe. Both Steve and Alex wanted great images and it just clicked.

Obviously I love this set of images. I can't wait to show you guys them. But here are a couple of Alex for right now.

Anyway, not a lot of time to do a journal entry, and that about covers my week anyway.

I have Monday off (Today) and I'd like to go out and ride my bike for a bit, and get some exercise..and not sit in front of the computer. So Will see you in 7
