Very quiet week again.
I promise, the next 3 weeks will be a whirlwind of activity. Been gearing up for it.
Andrew arrives from London today (Monday). 10 Day stay. Not sure he will like it here. London is a great city, and he's been to Miami and New York, so I'm more than a little worried that Austin will be a little too laid back for him.
I worked non-stop this weekend trying to get ready. Cleaning house, washing the truck, and Kitty! needed another bath. She's found she likes rolling around in the leaves, making her "Day at the Spa" only last about a week. She stanks!
She smells pretty now. Like a baby's bottom actually. She has baby powder doggie perfume!
She sure hates baths!
Let's see, what else.
Truck died finally. This time it was the battery. She's Dead Jim.
Ya know, this is the first time I've ever had a car long enough to go out of warranty! I guess my 3-Year/36,000 miles warranty lapsed when I hit 36,001 miles (Now at 41,000). Ooops! So it was long past expired. Dang! That's never happened! Next time, I will try to negotiate so that the Bumper to Bumper warranty will last the entire length of my lease. Hey, I can try!
It was about $70 bucks to have someone come out and jump it. Then another $100 for the new battery and install. Friday morning was quite expensive. All before 9am too. A new record. Oh boy.
What else.
Earnest came over on Saturday and we did some shots for his own use. That was the second paid shoot this week. I guess the two paid gigs balanced out with the battery expense. Money comes in, money goes out.
On Sunday I had a shoot with a guy named Matt.
I LOVE this site called Fratmen.tv This guy films these solo movies. They are so my style and taste. Beautifully filmed. Anyway, Matt was one of the models on that site, and I found out through Robert San Roman, that he lives near the Austin area, and would be up for a shoot.
So Sunday, amongst all my other tasks, I had an awesome shoot with Matt. He is so tough looking, and sweet. ~sigh~
The weather did not cooperate, so all we did was studio shots. we both sounded like we wanted to work together again, so maybe I can diversify the images, and shoot with him again in Feb or March.
Not sure when I will get his pics online, but as always, when there ain't much goin on, a half nakie guy is always entertaining. So enjoy!
