Oh my aching ass!
Did I mention this already?

I swear I am losing it. I went back and looked at the last couple entries, and I guess I didn't post this in the journal.

I have no idea what parts of the site people go to. If people only go the journal, or if they load the front page to see what updates are there. So I spread the announcements around. I still get an occasional letter with a joking accusation that I “Didn't tell them.” Such and such was happening. I try to now post things in several locations.

So if you haven't spotted the a-nouncer section on the main greeting page, then you likely haven't read about my upcoming Southwest road trip, affectionately called “Bryan's Big Ass Hot Summer Road Trip Extravaganza!”

I am still planning on going from July 12th to the 25th, but when I planned this thing, I hadn't counted on buying a house. So we will see what happens. I will likely shorten it, but I am for sure going to see my parents, and for sure going to Jo's wedding. The rest may be a mad rush, and hotels will be out of the question…ok, maybe one hotel, but I love camping! Might be a moot point. It looks like I have only one spot that I can't get to in one day, and that is the Santa Fe to Austin Leg. It looks like I will stop in El Paso that night, and finish the trip off from there. Which is still a long ways off from Austin.

The original plan was to drive up to see my parent's new pad, maybe talk them into going up to Glenwood Springs, from there go to the Grand Canyon and see Jo get married, then pop on over to see Alex, then Roswell, then Carlsbad.

Along the way I wanted to pull my bike out and just ride. Thought it'd be cool. I've ridden up Raton pass before, but I don't think I am in that kind of shape. But riding around the Grand Canyon or even Glenwood would be really enjoyable.

I'd love to photograph some hot guys too, but I think I am gonna be too broke for that. If you know any hot bodied guys in my path, let me know and I will bring my spare change collection to the converter machine at the grocery store and see if I have enough to pay for a model! ~hehe~ (yeah.things are gonna be tight!)

Well, that's it, time for a quickie week in progress!

  Home Buying/Selling Saga Wednesday
201-01tn.jpg
So the house is sold!! We close on the 12th, my Birfaday if you don't remember..and how could you forget!?

I have a few projects that I need to do (not required by the sale, just things that need to be done), and one of them was painting over the black wall in the garage. I also needed to finish painting the garage floor. I had only done half cuz, well, I only bought one gallon of cement paint and had also rolled out some carpet on the other, unpainted half.

So now the garage looks GOOD!

Except that I am getting a start on packing and it is now filling up with boxes and boxes of stuff.

David lent a hand too, so it way way quick..though it was pretty toxic!

As for the new house, I guess we close this Friday, baring any mortgage drama, which could very well happen. This is REALLY going to be a tight squeeze.

I think the owners of the new house are building a new home and need to get it sold in order to qualify for the construction loan. I think- I have no idea. But they are renting the place backr from me until June 5th.

That leaves my official move date. June 8th! David called some favors and booked the moving van. Now to bribe all my friends to come schlepp all my stuff across town again.

Things are gonna be crazy busy, and I will of course try to keep up with everything. The cam is gonna be in a state of flux, as I try to figure out how I am gonna wire the new house. The new house is larger and two story, so I don't know how far I can run USB cables. I use powered USB extention cords. You're supposed to be able to daisy chain four of them together, but I find more than two and they burn out.

Cams are definitely going to be an issue. Ugh! I may have to go with a wireless network in the house. Does anyone look at the cams anymore?!?

Ok, so I will probably be all down for a week. But who knows, I tend to be pretty organized and last time I wasn't down at all.

Think of me on Friday as I sign my life away!

  Clone Wars Sunday
201-05tn.jpg
I was determined to not go see Star Wars with the massive throngs, but the SciFi and E! Channels went into hype overdrive, and by Saturday I was in a Star Wars FRENZY. I was desperate to go see it! Damn television!

Since the showtime that Bill and I went to see Spiderman was such a coupe last weekend, I got on Fandango and got us some Sunday morning tickets for 11:50.

Bill and I went again. (despite his innability to wake up before 11am on weekends, the lazy rat basturd). We're on a roll!

What did I think of the movie?

I LOVED IT! And I don't mean yeah it was a good film love kinda love. I LOVED IT. The kind of love that you go see it 10 times kind of love. The kind of love that you might find yourself saying "It's the best one of all of them, even though the first was supposed to be the ultimate, cuz, well, it was first, but I don't care cuz this moving is fucking amazing."

I liked it better than the Matrix!

Bill and I walked out of the theater all befuddled. We couldn't figure out why the critics would dump on it. Wooden acting? I thought it was great. I think they mistake their Formality as bad acting. I dunno. Very little was wrong with this movie. Ok, Confusing Plot Twists (Um..we like that..right?) A few scenes cut to tightly and darkly to be able to see what was going on, and maybe a silly roll in the flowers, but it was still an awesome movie.

And Christian Hayden...LOOOORDY, I wanna be a Jedi so I can talk to him in the showers after a long round of sabre sparing! LOOORDY. And when he got all emotional, and a little tear welled up in his eyes, I was with him man...sniff...I was with him.

Quick, I need to get a poster of him to hang up next to my Farrah poster!

I've gotta go see it at least 3 more times! ~hehe~

Did I mention I like the movie?

  Hiking and Biking-not Saturday
201-03tn.jpg
I went hiking/biking at Bull Creek this weekend. Damn those cheeky conservationists have been busy.

They've totally blocked all the trails to no bicycles or pets. Now there is no place out north to ride off road. Hey! I'm gonna be awfully close to McKinney Falls!!!! Now! Ok..never mind.

Wait! I can't even bring Wookie!

Grrrrrrrrrrr.

There is still one unrestricted trail, but when you get to the top of the ridge, there are all these "Stay Out Private Property" signs, right in the middle of trail! How is anyone supposed to get down the other side? And when you do cross the "Stay Out" signs and get down to the bottom of the trail, there is now a HUGE EMPTY DOT.COM building there. The trail now ends at a DUMPTSTER!?

Double Grrrrrrr

We don't need no stinking Golden Cheek Warbler! I cant figure this one out. They take away all the access to Mountain Bikers (who I guess have no money) but they are letting developers (Deep Pockets) build in the middle of the fucking trail? Am I the only one to see the Irony?!

Omigawd, I'm gonna bust a blood vessel on this one! ~hehe~

  Bradley's Graduation Party Sunday

201-06tn.jpg

A couple weeks ago I photographed a guy named Bradley for the upcoming Summer Fashion thang. He was one of Fred's buddies (Fred seems to have an endless stream of hot hunky boys at his disposal- poor guy!) He did an awesome job!

Bradley's buds threw him a Graduation party, and Fred “volunteered” his fabulous home to have it at. Fred invited a couple of his buds too, including me, which worked out well, because I needed to give Bradley his photo CD.

201-07tn.jpg

I took one of the photos of Bradley and printed it at 13x16 and framed it up for him as a Graduation present. (And a sales tool!- ya never know when one of his hunky friends might wannna do a shoot too!).

201-08tn.jpg

The party had a massive sound system and DJ spinning. The neighbors did complain once, so we had to turn it down. The music and just partying around the pool was wonderful. The weather was perfect too. And all them shirtless guys. It was just terrible!

Did I mention the hunky boys?

201-10tn.jpg

One more pic of Bradley with Erik. Erik and his partner Rick are having a party next Friday. I think I am gonna go to that. It will be a great way to cap off the closing on the house (if it happens!)

Well, that's it guys, I need to finish this up (so I can go sneak into Star Wars again!)

Did you know everytime you download something off my site, it costs me money? Don't you just love Capitalism?

Ok, so you may not be into naked boys (what?!?) and you certainly don't have to join every month. Just toss a few bucks my way every now and then so I can keep paying off those bandwidth bills and improving the site.

Ahhh..the power of the dangling carrot! Keeps me going! And I promise to keep you all going...with the most mundane journal entries, fabulous columns, and of course, the hottest guys I can lay my lense on.
